Pancakes are delicious sugary, carb clouds which I love and are very much needed sometimes but my body would feel awful if I ate the normal version of pancakes every day. So today I made a healthy version of pancakes which still tasted amazing and they were super quick and easy to make.

I first started by finding a small blender cup and I put a whole banana in it.

Next, I added one whole egg.

I then added about 2/3 a cup of oats.

I then added some chia seeds to add some magnesium, iron, and calcium.

I then added a small amount of baking powder.

Then I put in a bit of cinnamon and some vanilla for flavouring.

Finally, I blended everything together and I had my pancake batter.

I then melted some butter in a pan and poured out three small pancakes.

Once the pancakes began to bubble I flipped them over and cooked them on the other side as well.

Once they finished cooking I served them with a bit of butter and some real maple syrup. These pancakes tasted amazing and were made with much better ingredients than just flour, sugar, eggs, and milk like regular pancakes. You could also tell that the banana made the pancakes very moist which I really enjoyed. I will definitely make these again. They make for a super quick and easy breakfast which I love. Also, it gives me an excuse to eat pancakes more often without feeling bloated or heavy after.

That is all for this week! Thanks for reading!
