One Love – Bob Marley
In my final growth plan, I wrote I would post a blog today about how the progress on my final song is going. I have been practicing it for the last week and I am happy to say it is already coming along much smoother than my last song. I was definitely feeling quite discouraged after my second song but I am moving past it. I am still working on switching chords and staying on the beat in this song but I feel like once I have ironed out those kinks then I should have the song ready to go. Luckily, I do not have to post my final song video until December so I can focus on all the presentations due next week. I do plan on practicing a bit less next week simply because it is going to be a very busy week and because I am already feeling good about the song. I will still continue to practice but not as much as I have in the past week.
I have read the feedback from my midterm demonstration of musical growth and I would just like to note once again that I have tried tuning this ukulele with multiple different tuning websites and they all say it is tuned but the ukulele continues to sound weird. I know being able to tune the ukulele was a big part of this demonstration of growth assignment but it simply just will not tune and I do not have the funds to buy another ukulele that works. I hope you can understand.
Other than that small issue I am very excited about this song and I think it is going to be the best one I have posted so far! I can definitely see my own growth in playing the ukulele even though it may seem small it is huge for me.
